We were driving to Chuckie Cheese last night, when Gabriel asked, "Are we on the highway, Dad?"

"No," I said, "we're on Black Bob."

He got quiet and thought for a minute, and then he said, "Black Bob? That's just like Sponge Bob, Dad!"

And here I didn't even realize that there might be a distant family relationship between some early Olathe settlers and a clan of ocean-dwelling cartoon characters...
